By downloading, installing, or using the Quick & Simple Doc Scanner application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not download, install, or use the App.
We reserve the right to change these Terms or privacy policy at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of the App following any changes indicates your acceptance of the new Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes on any Apple-branded products that you own or control. You may not:
The App allows you to use your device's camera to capture images of documents and apply basic enhancements. The processed images can be saved locally on your device or shared using standard iOS sharing features.
The quality and accuracy of scans may depend on factors such as lighting conditions, document quality, and device camera capabilities.
We recommend that you always verify your scanned documents have been successfully saved or transferred to your desired location before discarding the originals. While we strive to provide a reliable experience, technical issues can occur, including those related to device storage, cloud services, or internet connectivity, which may be outside our control.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting within the App or on our website. Your continued use of the App after any such changes constitutes your binding acceptance of the revised Terms.
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the App at any time, including the availability of any App feature or content, without notice or liability.
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices regarding information handled by the App. As stated in the Privacy Policy, the App operates locally on your device and does not collect or transmit your scanned documents.
You are solely responsible for the documents you scan and how you use or share them. You agree not to use the App to scan or distribute content that is illegal, infringes on copyright or intellectual property rights, or violates the privacy of others.
You are responsible for backing up any important documents scanned or saved using the App. We are not liable for any loss of data.
Do not use the App to scan, store, or transmit documents that are irreplaceable, highly sensitive, or critical to your personal, financial, or legal interests unless you accept all risks of loss or failure. You use the App entirely at your own discretion and risk.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the App complies with all applicable laws and regulations. We do not condone or take responsibility for any illegal, unauthorized, or unethical use of the App. The App is provided as a tool, and how you choose to use it is your responsibility.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL FUNCTION WITHOUT ERROR OR INTERRUPTION, THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED, OR THAT THE APP IS FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. WE DO NOT WARRANT THE ACCURACY OR COMPLETENESS OF THE SCANS PRODUCED BY THE APP.
YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT USE OF THE APP IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. WE MAKE NO GUARANTEES REGARDING THE PRESERVATION, STORAGE, OR SECURITY OF ANY DOCUMENTS OR DATA. YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR MAINTAINING BACKUPS OF ALL DATA AND DOCUMENTS.
Some features of the App may rely on third-party services, such as Apple's document storage or cloud providers. We are not responsible for any failures, delays, or issues caused by these services, your device, or your internet connection.
IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE APP, OR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE TO YOUR DOCUMENTS.
WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS, DELETION, CORRUPTION, FAILURE TO STORE, OR MISUSE OF ANY DOCUMENTS OR DATA, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO SENSITIVE, CONFIDENTIAL, OR IRREPLACEABLE INFORMATION. YOU AGREE THAT YOU USE THE APP AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION AND RISK, AND THAT YOU WILL BE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE OR LOSS THAT RESULTS FROM SUCH USE.
We are not responsible for any issues arising from the use of third-party services, including but not limited to Apple's built-in document saving or cloud services, or your internet connection. Any such issues are the responsibility of the respective service providers or your network provider.
We may terminate or suspend your license to use the App immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including without limitation if you breach these Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, without respect to its conflict of laws principles. You agree to submit to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in California.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid under any applicable law, such provisions shall be deleted without affecting the remaining provisions herein.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the App and supersede all prior and contemporaneous written or oral agreements between you and us.
By using the App, you acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for any and all documents, data, or information you scan, store, or transmit using the App. You assume all risks associated with the use of the App, including but not limited to the risk of data loss, unauthorized access, or failure to save or transmit documents. We do not and cannot guarantee the security, integrity, or preservation of any data processed by the App. You agree to hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or losses arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of important, sensitive, confidential, or valuable documents or information.
We encourage you to always confirm that your documents have been properly saved or transferred before discarding originals. The App is intended to be a helpful tool, but ultimate responsibility for your documents and their use rests with you.
