PinTop

Keep any window floating on top.

PinTop is a small macOS menu-bar utility for the times you need one window — a video, a reference doc, a calculator, a checklist — to stay visible above everything else while you work. Pin it from a global hotkey or from a menu that lists every running window, and PinTop remembers your choice per app across relaunches.

What it does

Float any window above all others, system-wide.
Global hotkey to toggle the frontmost window without reaching for the mouse.
Window menu listing every running window to pin or unpin.
Per-app preferences that persist between sessions.

Status: Built — a native macOS utility, not yet released. The toggle engine and preferences layer are complete and unit-tested; the packaged, signed app is still being finished. Source lives in a private GitHub repository.
