The ChatGPT Status Notifier is a Firefox addon that lets you know when ChatGPT has finished typing. It's perfect for users who want to be instantly informed once the model completes its response.

Our addon is compatible with both the free and paid versions of ChatGPT. It works with the legacy GPT-3.5 version, the new GPT-4 version, and the new turbo default (GPT-3.5) version. We aim to maintain compatibility with future versions of ChatGPT, as long as the frontend Next.js team doesn't make any breaking changes.
- Works with free, Plus, Pro, Team, and Max accounts
- Will continue working even if they add a Pro Max Plus Ultimate Extra version
- Now works with Anthropic Claude (claude.ai).
- Now works with Google Gemini (Pro, Ultra, Student) and OpenAI's ChatGPT Go.
They've been adding so many variations in model naming (4o, o3-mini, o3-mini-high, o1, o1 (Preview), o3, o4, o4-mini, 4o, 4o-mini) and plan naming (ChatGPT Plus, Team, and Pro; Claude Pro, Team, and Max) that we're ready for anything!

What was required to develop this?
- Vector graphics: created logo with Vectornator.
- Web Development: addon written entirely in JavaScript (ES6); webpage created with HTML/CSS. The GitHub repo includes a README.md written in Markdown following best practices.
- Copywriting: the copy was refined with ChatGPT.
